Underwriting Operations Administrator - P&C Insurance

As an Excess and Surplus (E&S) carrier, we face unique and interesting problems every day. We are seeking an Underwriting Operations Administrator to join our amazing team.
Primary Function:
The role of the Underwriting Operations Administrator is responsible for the execution of the administrative functions which will support our Underwriters and Underwriting Assistants and must ensure detail-oriented accuracy in the distribution of materials to brokers and policy holders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in meeting coordination for agendas and attendees for Underwriting Units
- Generate monthly and weekly reports and collect updates from all reporting parties including but not limited to: Reinsurance Monthly Reporting, Product Line Priority Reporting, team weekly report rollups
- Generate Provisional Notices of Non-Renewals via ODEN to distribute to brokers and insureds using mail fulfillment vendor
- Maintain the Renewal Solicitation boards for Underwriting Assistants by verifying received submissions daily, adding accounts as needed, and removing cancelled accounts
- Assist Underwriting Assistants on updating the Monday automation boards and PowerBI subscriptions pertaining to Renewal Solicitations
- Monitor the main company inbox and triage messages to supporting teams
- Answer the main company phone line to answer basic company questions and direct to supporting teams
- Complete the mailing of IT Support Contact Stickers to new hires
- Coordinate signatures for Underwriting Guidelines and Letters of Authority for the Underwriting team and ensure compliance tracking of updates
- Coordinate compliance tracking of unit workflows and SOPs
- Monitor vendor invoice requests for the Operations unit
- Perform additional tasks as requested by leadership
Experience, Education, Special Skills Required:
- Two years of work experience
- Associate’s Degree
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to work independently and as a team
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong data entry skills with high level of accuracy and efficiency
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Proficient with computer, email, and Microsoft Office products
- Ability to manage to due dates and follow up timeliness
Disclosures:
Pay Estimate: $50,000 - $60,000
Other compensation: annual incentive program
